On-premise Products and Pricing:

All editions of CRM 4.0 are
identical looking and in feature set and functionality accept "multi-tenancy" is
only in the Enterprise edition only. Multi-tenancy is for
hosting multiple different "Organizations" with larger enterprises
with multiple distinct organizations.

The 4.0 Version takes advantage of
advanced SQL Server 2005 functionality
and therefore SQL server 2005
is a required component of the infrastructure Stack in addition
to Windows server.

Any 4.0 version can be run on
any server configuration that supports the processing
requirements of the implementation including Windows Small
Business Server and the entire Windows server family.

CRM 4.0 "User" licenses are
now available in "User" - where a single named individual may
sign on from any PC anywhere - Perfect for office, home, travel.
Or "Device" - where a single PC will allow any number of
different users to sign on - Perfect multiple shifts of staff 24
hours a day.
